Accomplishments

1. Successful campaign  for the promotion of iodized salt for the control of goiter and cretinism in the region, that included:-

i) Publication of leaflets & brochures amongst the educated people.

ii) Marketing of iodized salt on subsidized rate during 1996.99.

iii) Imposing ban on rock or uniodized salt.

2. Establishment of camps during  epidemics of diarrhea In Shigar in the year 2003 ,2004 & 2005.

3. Preparation of leaflets & brochure for awareness about

i) Control & Prevention of diarrhea.

ii) Dengue Fever

iii) Cigarette Smoking  & sniffing.

4. Seminar for the promotion of second crop in Shigar in July 2009.

5. Seminar on the “role of Govt. Departments & NGOs in the development of Shigar” on 23-10-13.

6. Running Deenyat centre for girls & Adults Quran Literacy Centre in Agaipa Village.

7. Seminar of religious scholars of all Islamic sects on 14th November 2012 to motivate them to reiterate the following in their sermons:

i) Education and grooming of children in the society.

ii) The importance of Cleanliness & Hygiene in human nutrition.

iii) Importance of efficient land use & second crop.

8.Follow up Ulma Seminar on 26th October 2013.

9.Publication & free distribution of booklet about the reasons & the control of Anemia in women folk of Baltistan Region.
